History

Feb. 1974 Nagase-Landauer, Ltd., was established as a joint venture of Nagase & Co., Ltd. (listed on the first section of both the Tokyo and Osaka stock exchange) and Tech/Ops Landauer, Inc. (Currently named Landauer, Inc., listend on the New York stock exchange) with a capital of 47.7 million (JPY). Established Radiation Dosimetry Services using Film Dosimeters.
Apr. 1976 Established Osaka Sales Office
Apr. 1979 Established Ring badge Services using TLD Ring Dosimeters from the USA
Apr. 1985 Launched the Neutrak badge Service for Neutron Dosimetry using the etched pit method developed by the company
Sep. 1988 Began exporting ADC precise molded product Baryotrak to the USA, a product co-developed with Fukuvi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.
Oct. 1990 Exclusive Distributorship Agreement with BTI Canada for Bubble Detectors
Dec. 1990 Increased the Capital to 88 million (JPY)
Oct. 1997 Began the sales of Harzlas TNF-1, a high-energy heavy charged particle detector
Apr. 2000 Began using OSL dosimeters for dosimetry with the Luxel Badge from Landauer USA
Mar. 2001 Completely converted from Film badge to Luxel badge (OSL Dosimeters)
Apr. 2002 Obtained the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation for the Luxel badge Service
Apr. 2005 Obtained the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation for the Ring badge Service
Nov. 2009 Completed the construction of the New Head Office and factory in Tsukuba City
Apr. 2010 Launched the QuIxel badge Service
Jul. 2010 Obtained the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for the QuIxel badge Service
Sep. 2014 Expanded the manufacturing base and capacity
Apr. 2017 Launched the Luminess badge Service
May. 2017 Obtained the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for the Luminess badge Service
Mar. 2019 Obtained the ISO 17025:2017 accreditation for the Luminess Badge Service
